StemForge

How StemForge works

StemForge is a desktop companion app and a Premiere Pro plugin working together. The plugin is the panel you use inside Premiere; the companion app does the actual audio processing in the background. Everything runs locally, and your audio never leaves your Mac.

  1. Step 1

    Drop in a track

Drag any audio file onto the StemForge panel in Premiere Pro, or browse to it. It works on dialogue, music, SFX, anything with sound.

  2. Step 2

    Analyze

StemForge detects the track's BPM and musical key automatically, so you know what you're working with before you touch anything.

  3. Step 3

    Separate into stems

Split it into vocals, drums, bass, and other. Or switch to the 6-stem model to also pull out guitar and piano.

  4. Step 4

    Render a matched version

Set a target BPM or key and render a time-stretched or pitch-shifted version to match your edit.

  5. Step 5

    Import straight into your bin

Click Import next to any result to bring it directly into the active Premiere project. No exporting, and no round-tripping to another app.
