Know the BPM and key before you cut
Matching a cut to a track's tempo, or layering two pieces of music in the same key, usually means guessing or pulling the file into a separate app just to find out. StemForge detects both the moment a clip hits the panel in DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Tempo detection
Beat-tracks the track's onset envelope to read its BPM.
Key detection
Matches the track's chroma features against classic key profiles and shows a confidence meter next to the key. It's solid for tonal music and less meaningful on atonal SFX or noise.
Render to a target
Set a target BPM or key and render a time-stretched or pitch-shifted version, then import it into your Media Pool. Key changes leave the drums unshifted so they keep their punch, and the result is level-matched and saved as a 24-bit WAV.
